Vitamin Boost for the Fall

Hey all,

and it is Monday again. Unbelievable how fast a weekend can possibly pass by. I was really lazy the past two days. Especially because the weather was not very good. Mostly rain with a lot of grey. It's just the perfect excuse to stay on the couch. Don't you think?

I slowly get the feeling that the summer will say goodbye so it is time to get some more vitamins and energy in as usual. I love to make juices. Nearly every day I use our slow juicer. Today I have a fantastic receipt for you:

4 Oranges
2 green Apples
1 Lime or Lemon
Wheatgrass (powder or fresh) if you have

Peel the Oranges and chop the Apple. I usually squeeze the lemon or lime by hand. Put everything in the Juicer and you will get a fantastic boost on Vitamins just right for the cold, wet & grey days that are in front of us.

Wheatgrass is also a Superfood as it is very healthy for us. It provides us with a lot of Vitamin C, E, K and B12 and also Iron, Magnesium, Chlorophyll and Calcium. Also it increases red blood cell count and decreases blood pressure. It has a strong alkalizing and detoxing effect to the body. It helps with weight loss, increases the energy level and slows down the aging process.
So to say it's pure gold to drink. :-)
