Busy days behind me

Hi all,

long time ago since my last post. I was so busy the past weekes that I were not able to come up with some nice posts to share with you.
But now I am back again.

In the meanwhile I am still busy with crocheting. I think if I progress like I did in the past I will soon be done with my first blanket. And I need to. 3 new projects are already aligned :)

Last Saturday we went to the nature park with our bikes and I want to share some nice fall pictures with you.

I have to share some great cooking recipes within the next days so make sure you stop by.

Have a great start in the week & new cookbook

Hi all,

first of all I hope you have a great start in the new week. Always have in mind: nearly weekend ;)
I had a nice relaxing weekend and gathered some energy for my working week.
I will be traveling to Munich for work so I am not sure if I can post a lot the next days. But you will hear from me during the weekend - latest.

Today I've got a new cookbook.
It is all about people from foreign countries who are now living in the Netherlands. They show how to cook receipts from their country.

It looks really delicious and I am sure I will try a few things very soon.

Now & Then - How your life changed in the last 10 years?

Hi all,

Ina from the Blog what Ina loves want's to know today what has changed for us in the past 10 years.
I can tell you - a lot! :)

10 years ago with 19 I was just in the middle of my apprenticeship. For that I was moving away from my parents - 500km. Luckily I had my 2 sisters close to me.
With 21 I was able to work and live in England for 6 month. That was amazing. Even though I was home sick from time to time.
I loved it there. I lived in Portsmouth during that time.

After I finished my apprenticeship I started working immediately. My company gave me a 6 month contract. It was a hard time for me then as some of my colleagues had not the best business manners. But luckily I had a few fantastic people around. K & I - happy to have you!

Shortly after that I started to study next to my fulltime job. I was working 9-5 and meeting friends to learn 1-2 times a week. Also Fridays and Saturdays I had lessons to attend and the Sunday I usually needed to use for a wrap up. And that for 3 years. But I made it! I am very proud of that.
Time was not always easy these days. Sometimes I wanted to stay in bed Saturday morning so badly. But after all I am very proud of myself as I finished it at the end.

I've got a better job after I was done and liked it. I could do more of what I always loved - working together with people. I was always into HR but now working as a recruiter. I developed my skills and had finally more time to do thinks I like. Photography and reading for example. I always loved taking pictures. It's my Dad's fault. He got me my first camera when I was 6. By then I had a slightly better camera then the one I've got from him back then. :)

And now, since about 1 1/2 year I am living in the Netherlands. I life in a smal house, together with 2 cats and a dog and I love it here. I think within that time I have changed so much. I've got much more independent as I ever was as I've got all the time I need for myself. I became more relaxed and I am just happy.

Well, moved a lot as you see. Let's see what the next 10 years will bring.

Happy Saturday

Hi all,

I had a fantastic Saturday, you too?
First of all my new book arrived. Here I can learn a lot about planting my seeds at the right moment of time.
A good preparation for my garden next year.

I also want to send you some late summer grettings. Here what I have in my livingroom:

I went to the market with my friend and later the day I finnished some more granny squares.
Yes, right I started crocheting.
And I have to say it works fine for me. I tried knitting last winter but did not get along with it very well. Crocheting works much better for me. Thanks here for my friend who showed it to me.

Not bad I think :)

A nice start in the Weekend

Hi all,

as you could guess from the title my weekend started very good. After walking the dog we went to the city center to go to the marked as usual on Saturdays. 
Today we decided to grab some food there so we went to the Bagels & Beans in Almere.
I love it there and usually this is what I get :)

A Salmon Bagel and a Matcha Latte together with some fresh juice. This time a Strawberry juice.

Besides getting tons of veggies and fruits I also bought some things for a selfmade muesli. I've got mais flakes, fresh roasted nuts and sunflower seeds and mixed it with some table spoons of Chia Seeds.

We also got some new Tea as we are running low. Since we stopped drinking coffee the consumption of tea raised a lot.
Here our all-time favorites and my fantastic tea pot I felt in love with during my vacation in France.

Isn't it sweet? THERE ARE CUPCAKES (!!!!) ON IT! Well, you get the point, I love it.

And at the end I was even able to get the new Vegan Fit Magazine, this time 2 for 1. What a day! hahahaha. Since I stopped eating meat I love this magazine as it shows so many fantastic receipts for vegitarians. As you can see, I covered them already in post it notes hahahaha.

Now I will use the sum and work a little bit in my garden. Count the Zucchini to come, get the last green beans in and see how the corn is doing. I also want to gather some herbs and mint to freeze them. I will share all this with you tomorrow so make sure you stop by :)

Allerhande!

Hey all,

one of our local supermarkets publishes a monthly magazine with a lot of receipts in it - Allerhande. And the best: it's for free!
I usually can't wait until I get the new magazine in my hands. This month it is all about cakes.
Here I show you some impressions and surely you will find some of the results - made by me in a later post.

Uh, I can get so exciting about the little things.
But for now, please excuse me. I have the feeling I need to sit on my couch now, armed with a pot of tea, post its and markers hahahaha - only a dream as I still have to work today :)
