Crocheting Hammock for the cats

Hi all,

during the past few weeks I was busy with crocheting a new hammock for the cats. So they would have something new to lay in and sleep. Well what else do cats the whole day, right?

So today I finished this project. As I see so many things all of the time that I want to make I really need to be strict to myself to just finish one thing AFTER the other :) So I am also super happy now as I can go on with something new. I still could do a second one but this is maybe for later. I have so many things in my mind. Finger puppets and a blanked for the soon to come niece bay shoes for a friend who is also expecting, a blanket for me and so on... 

But now, here the finished hammock :)

Getting more and more into crocheting - new results

Hi all,

as I told you I got more and more into crocheting. 
First I made new scarfs for me and my boyfriend. They turned out very nice. Unfortunately it is not so cold right now so we can't really wear them.

But here is how they look like:

Also, I told you my sister is pregnant and I see more and more things I want to make for the new baby in the Family.

I did show you the first pair of shoes I made for her here.
Now I made this ones. I found an introduction Video on youtube. This was so helpful. I can not read patterns very well yet, but I am learning.
I think I will make another pair for a friend of mine who is expecting a baby next year as well.

I am still busy finishing my first project. I made a huge granny square blanked for one of our side boards in the living room. I had done all of the single granny squares already a while ago. (16 big ones and 156 small) but I still need to finish to sew them together - getting there soon I hope. I will show you the result as soon as I am done.

Another project (also for my sisters baby) will be super cute finger puppets.

We enjoy our vacation

Hi all,

we totally enjoy the time off right now.
We had some nice walks were I took this pictures:

As you can see I really like this weather. Cold but sunny. Perfect for a nice morning walk and so thought Floris :)

For Christmas we spend some time in Germany. We stayed in Idar Oberstein and also went to see my Family. It was great to have them around once again. One of my sisters is pregnant right now so I took her something:

They are so cute. I cant wait see the little one wearing them. But well, I will have to wait. In the meanwhile I already started new projects for the soon to come baby. I will keep you posted.
Also I will show you pictures of my 2 scarfs. They are now done and so nice and warm. Only that we have about 10-12 ° here right now and it is a little to warm to wear them hahahaha.

Also I will soon post the missing granola receipt. :) To my friend Inge: Try it out. It is super easy and really, really tasty!

Today we spent our time painting the hall and the toilet. You do understand that my arms are getting tired, right? So I better stop writing now.
